Whew! Now my presentation is complete and I can relax a little. It was fun, once again, to get up in front of people and explain stuff. My presentation was Davalen's Practical Advice from the Field. In it I took many of the lessons we've learned the hard way during Portlet Factory implementations and shared them with the audience. It was great to see so many people who are actively using WPF and continuing to improve their knowledge and skill with this development tool. Last year, half of the audience was technical manager types, but this year, nearly everyone was application developer types with at least some level of experience with WPF. There were also a few key people from the Portlet Factory development team. It's always fun for me to see them and to get their opinions on the patterns and techniques we recommend for use in the field.
For anyone who attended: if you have any questions or would like to see demos of the concepts I presented, stop by Booth #1 in the big tent and I'll be happy to explain more stuff.
