Wednesday at the Portal Conference

We got a chance to go out and see the Gaslight district of San Diego last night. Nice area for walking and people watching and climate is very nice. It was hard to decide where to eat, some many choices but we finally decided on a small Italian bistro. We had lots of discussions on portal and portlet factory (you would think we could stop thinking about work!).

Today started with a power failure in the exhibit hall due to someone turning over the generator. Once that was restarted, we got down to the business of demoing portlet factory. Excellent discussions at breakfast with the Bowstreet team and client from Omaha where I used to live. Interesting discussion about when to use RAD and when to use Portlet Factory.
