The Spectacular View

by Ruth Jarvis, Marketing --Arriving to an airport at night provides a limited understanding of your surroundings. After a long flight from Boston to San Diego, in which we were unsure if we would have to land and refuel along the way because of a very hard headwind, after being in the air an extra hour and a half (as if the flight wasn't long enough), we safely landed in San Diego and were taken to the Sheraton Hotel and Marina. After an uneventful check-in and room service order I decided to check out what was behind the floor to ceiling drapes. Beautiful view of the Marina with blinking lights of boats were behind Curtain #1. Something I do not see very often after living in the suburbs of Boston away from the coastline. I snapped a picture, called it a night and went to bed.
This morning, after sleeping in to 6:00am Pacific Time (my body believed it was 9:00am). I decided to check out my tenth floor view of the marina one more time. This time I was truly blown away. Even overcast it is still pleasantly warm with a clear view of the mountains in the background and the boast throughout the marina. Every window in the hotel has a different perspective. Today I will have to look out the window to enjoy my surroundings as today is the day of networking and business related to the Business Development Day beginning with a Business Partner Roundtable. Later today, I will post the pictures from my camera to give you a small glimpse of San Diego.
